What To Bear In Mind Regarding The Attack On The Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna

The Nigerian Defence Academy is a military university based in Kaduna, Nigeria that trains officer cadets for commissioning into one of the three services of the Nigerian Armed Forces: the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. It is reported that the Nigerian defence academy have being attacked by unknown gunmen killing some officers while other(s) sustain some degrees of injuries and currently receiving treatment. According to Major Bashir J, the academy public Relations officer, the gunmen gain access into the school environment in Afaka barracks Kaduna state, North west Nigeria. Report also said that a major by name Datong was kidnapped in the scene. The essence of writing this piece of work is to let you know what to bear in mind regarding the ugly attack on the academy. First and foremost, I want you to know that security is everybody's business therefore, we should wake up and work hand in hand with the security agencies to safe guard our environment. Secondly, if gunmen can successfully launch an attack on the military academy that means the level of security in the country and within the area of incident is not strong and perhaps an insider might have known about this ugly act. Lastly, you should bear in mind that the security strength of Nigeria needs to be reinforced or seriously worked on.
