COVID-19 BIGGEST QUESTION OF THE DAY

There are multiple questions running through the minds of individuals as a result of this coronavirus outbreak. Considering the result of the collected data in my locality, I will tell you the questions people are asking as a result of this pandemic outbreak. The statistics have shown that millions of people have been infected with this virus. So many deaths have been recorded. In Nigeria today been 5/6/2020 at 1:24pm. We have the statistics of Confirmed cases, recovery and death as shown below: Confirmed cases--------- 11,516 Recovery------------------- 3,535 Death----------------------- 323 It’s clearly shown that the number of people found in covid-19 isolation centers across the states in Nigeria as a result of this virus is about 70% against 30% of non-covid-19 patients in Nigerian Hospitals today. Before the escalation of the virus, people have been suffering from typhoid, malaria fever, hepatitis, tuberculosis, cough to mention but few. Today, the above mentioned sicknesses are no longer heard because of the domination of the pandemic around the globe. Medically, most of the symptoms of the said coronavirus are also the symptoms of cough, high fever (malaria and Typhoid). Malaria fever was an everyday threat for many people across the globe. Nowadays, it is even difficult to hear that someone is suffering from malaria or typhoid as it was commonly found among us. So, the biggest question of the day is “where are the other sicknesses that were affecting us before the escalation of coronavirus? Or does it mean coronavirus has replaced malaria, typhoid, cough, tuberculosis, hepatitis? Etc. YOUR COMMENTS AND ANSWERS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

    Covid-19 can't replace all those illnesses mention in the question above. To me the way I understand coronavirus is a plan sickness.
