Do We Have A President? See Reason Why Every Nigerian Should Ask This Question

I took some stock in the current troubling Security situation in the country and what I kept asking myself is "Do we really have a President"? This is a personal question everyone should be asking. Between July and September, 2020 on different occasions, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum was attacked by the Islamic extremist Group, Boko Haram and almost got killed when the extremists ambushed his convoy along Borno Highway killing many of his security men ,yet, those men can't be traced and brought to book? I watched Governor Samuel Ortom briefing the press in a video regarding the recent killings in Benue state (though I was distracted and I had to pause the video hoping to finish it once I got home). I watched the video again at night and I must say that since then, I couldn't find sleep.
I watched the governor speaking with anger on the devastating effects of insecurity in Benue with numerous attacks on the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Benue State, one of which has left seven persons dead and many others injured. A statement issued on social media by the Benue State Government said, "the attack was carried out by armed Fulani herdsmen who raided Abagena community that houses the IDP camp in Makurdi". This forced angry youths to block the Makurdi-Lafia Road with the bodies of the victims in protest against the attack. It's provoking and sad as Fulani herdsmen continue to attack, kill and maim the indigene of that particular community. The Governor made reference to other geopolitical zones who are also facing similar security attacks without much effort by Mr. President to repel or re-strategise on how to put an end to these terrible and growing insecurities, nationwide. This still boils down to the question "Do we have a President? Secondly, I watched the Senate session and I listened to Senator Smart Adeyemi speaking about the current insecurity in Nigeria and I must acknowledge that the Distinguished Senator spoke the minds of every conscientious Progressives and I agree with him 100%. Again, let me ask, "Do we have a President"?
Recently, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, of Niger State confirmed that Boko Haram insurgents in Kauri Community of Shiroro Local Government Area have hoisted their flag and raised an alarm after several killings in the area and sought for help from the Presidency. According to the Governor, "I just heard they have already placed their flag in Kauri which means they have taken over the territory”, he lamented. The situation in Niger State currently requires God's intervention.Within the space of one week Imo State, part of Rivers State and Enugu have become so unsecured to the indigenes and inhabitants in the area over troubling insecurity. In conclusion, any leader that can't guarantee the security of his people is unfit to lead and such a leader should resign and go home. Every Nigerian should be asking this question, do we have a President? This is because a president of a country who is meant to protect his people won't keep silent and allow his people die like fowls in the hands of terrorists.
