Here’s What Benue Should Do To Curb Criminal Activities In The State

Benue state is one of the middle Belt states in Nigeria with it slogan “Food Basket of the Nation”. It is inhabited mainly by the Tiv, Idoma, Igede and Etulo languages respectively with 23 local government areas. It capital is Makurdi and the state is a rich agricultural region popularly grown crops includes; oranges, yam, rice, groundnuts, mangoes, guinea corn, cassava etc. In as much as Benue state is blessed with food and good soil, the state is faced with the issue of insecurity which is the concern of everyone. The issue of insecurity is highly alarming in Benue state because of lack of security force. In piece of work, I will tell you what the state should do to silent criminal activities that are affecting it growth and development. First of all, ask this question “How many barracks are there in Benue State”? This is where the problem is coming from; therefore there is every need to at least build 4 barracks adding to the already existed ones so as to strengthen the security force. And if this is done it will help to silent the criminal activities in Benue state.
